“Juliette Baudinot: From Finnish School to Fencing Champion and Back Again”

Juliette Baudinot arrived in Finhan in 2010 with her parents. She is at Émilie de Rodat school, in her mother’s class. “It wasn’t always easy,” says the mother, Céline, with a smile.

From 2011, she shows a disposition for fencing, her parents therefore enroll her in the Montauban club where, very quickly, she will demonstrate great qualities. His weapon of choice, the sword. She will continue her apprenticeship in Toulouse before joining the CREPS of Rodez where she is currently licensed.

But Juliette, now 19 years old and a resident of the training center in Lille, has not forgotten her Finnish school. This Thursday, she came for a day of discovery of fencing to nearly 70 little Finnish children from CP to CM2 at the Émilie de Rodat school.

The children were happy with this first introduction to this sport, we bet that many have taken a liking to this sport and that they will be in a club at the start of the school year.

Remember that since the beginning of the year, Juliette, holder of the France junior team, has won, among other things, the silver medal at the Istanbul U20 World Cup with the France team, the silver from the European Junior Epee Championship in Tallinn (Estonia). The tricolor lost 40-32 in the final against Poland. Finally, she returns from Bulgaria where her team finished 4th in the world championship, after losing by two points again against the Poles and against China for third place.

This is a fine example of returning to her roots for this young champion who hasn’t forgotten her roots.
