MUSIC – Julien Doré, an “Impostor” with a big heart. This Wednesday, August 28, Julien Doré put online the clip of his song As long as they are sweeta cover of the title by Mylène Farmer released in 1988. From the first seconds, the 42-year-old singer slipped in a subtle detail, a reference to the talent show New Star which opened the doors to fame for him. But behind this wink is actually a good deed.

At the thirtieth second of the clip, a red banner appears on the screen inviting viewers to “support Julien” by sending a text message to 92 003. If this process is reminiscent of the New Starthe show that made him famous in 2007, this is not just a nostalgic reference. Behind this solicitation lies a charitable act, because each message actually allows you to donate one euro to the Society for the Protection of Animals (SPA).

As he shared in his Instagram story, sending the word “IMPOSTOR” by SMS to 92 003 directly contributes to supporting the animal cause that has been close to his heart for years.

IMPOSTORa covers album

Scheduled for November 8th ImpostorJulien Doré’s new album, will be entirely composed of covers and duets. Four years after his last opus Loved and the success of the first season of his series Panda broadcast on TF1, the interpreter of Paris-Seychelles returns in particular with an acoustic version of the 80s hit by Mylène Farmer.

This resumption of As long as they are sweet is just the first in a long line of classics that feature on the album. Among them are tracks like Lyrics Lyrics by Alain Delon and Dalida, which he sings alongside the American actress Sharon Stone, Femme Like U by K. Maro or even Mint color to Eddy Mitchell’s water.
