Didier Proisy, originally from Fourmies, an antique dealer for 30 years, is taking part in his first Sedan Fair from the flea market and antique dealers area (a new feature): “We’ll see at the end if they find what we’re looking for or not. I know Sedan and its clientele a little. We’ll see if, given the economic climate, the clientele is there. I think we should have people all weekend long. I brought a bit of everything, we’re trying to get good prices. All the exhibitors played the game with beautiful objects.”

An agricultural fair under surveillance
8:30 a.m.: Due to the epizootic context, the animals arriving on the meadow for the Agricultural Fair are subject to close surveillance. 468 cattle were registered. More than 300 have carried out analyses but only about twenty will be present at the Fair. In short, the catarrhal fever is on everyone’s mind this morning.
On site, Sylvain Cachbach, the Fair veterinarianmonitors the temperature of the cattle, which must be understood between 38 and 39.5 degrees.
