Juliane Snekkestad (27) started out as a model at the age of 14 and during her career she held modeling assignments for numerous famous clothing brands such as Nakd, Nelly and BikBok. Additionally, she posed for Playboy in 2017.

This spring, news broke that Snekkestad had landed a modeling job for one of reality’s biggest stars, Kylie Jenner (25).
Jenner is behind the hugely successful makeup brand Kylie Cosmetics, and has chosen to hire the Norwegian model for the makeup campaign, which came out in May.
After Snekkestad led the makeup campaign, there were questions about partnering with Jenner. In the recent podcast of the 730 website “We Meet The People We Write About”, he recounts for the first time what the collaboration with Jenner was like.
Selected by Kylie Jenner
The questions that are constantly being asked of Snekkestad are what it was like to meet Jenner and what it was like to work with her. Last but not least, many people wonder how well the modeling job has been paid.
But there the 27-year-old must disappoint.
Snekkestad reveals that he has never met the makeup mogul in person. This is because the photo shoot took place in London, and not in Los Angeles, where Jenner lives.
But he says it was Jenner who chose the 27-year-old from Tønsberg for the Kylie Cosmetics campaign.
– I heard she chose me. That’s exactly what I thought was a little funny then, Snekkestad admits in the episode that came out this week.
According to the model, it is usually the boss himself, in this case Jenner, who chooses which models will be used for the assignments. That way she got away with going to castings or auditions early.

She took the fact that Snekkestad landed the modeling job with one of the biggest makeup brands in the world with surprising calm, which she says is kind of an injury at work.
– I’ve been in the industry for so long, so I haven’t thought about it too much. If I had been nine and hadn’t worked so hard, I would have been very stressed out, she laughs and continues:
– It’s a great job.
Juliane Snekkestad hasn’t answered Nettavisen’s questions yet.
It was deducted from the salary
Snekkestad remains reserved about how the paycheck came after Jenner’s work, but does not hide that she is satisfied with the payment.
– He’s definitely well paid, says Snekkestad in the podcast episode.
However, he reveals that he could initially earn even more.
– Doing a job for Kylie Jenner has a lot of prestige, so the salary goes down a bit, says the model.

Additionally, the 27-year-old says such well-known brands can get away with paying fewer models, as it’s considered “paying enough” by tackling world-class campaigns.

Snekkestad has been in the industry for almost 15 years already and, in her opinion, it is not a completely unusual practice. She adds that in these cases you earn it in other ways, for example by having it in your CV and in your wallet

Snekkestad made a name for herself through her modeling career, but she really became a famous face when she met Marius Borg Høiby (26) in 2018. There was an uproar after a Se og Hør relationship in which she referred to Snekkestad as Høiby’s “Playboy – boyfriend”.
The couple lived together in London but moved to Tønsberg in 2019 after buying a house together.
They were together for four years before their happiness ended in March of this year. In a text message Snekkestad wrote to Nettavisen that he was in a much better place after the breakup was a fact.

During the four-year relationship, Snekkestad became closer to the Norwegian royal family, as her former mother-in-law was Crown Princess Mette-Marit (49).
This summer the Netflix movie “Royalteen” was released, about a normal girl who falls in love with the Norwegian crown prince. Snekkestad had a little hand in manufacturing because he must have contributed with his knowledge of royalty to the Netflix movie.
She never confirmed this herself, but according to Dagbladet, Snekkestad consulted on a number of actual details, everything from dresses to big dinners.
