Julián Román denies that his father Edgardo Román had a heart attack – Cinema and Tv – Culture

On Saturday, November 27, a rumor emerged that the actor Edgardo Roman, 71, had had a heart attack. Apparently, the false information began to circulate after the comedian Alvaro Lemmon made a post on his Instagram account in reference to Román’s health.

Both Julián Román, Edgardo’s son, and the Actuemos Foundation clarified that this was not true.

On his Instagram account (@alvarolemmonoficial), comedian Álvaro Lemmon shared an image with Edgardo Roman. The text that accompanied the image began by criticizing the actors being ‘forgotten’. “Why doesn’t anyone find out [de] that my friend Edgardo Román is serious, “read the publication, which has already been removed from the profile.

Later, in the letter, Lemmon reported that Roman had had a heart attack. The comedian also criticized that people only “are interested in the banal” and that, of what is really important, “no one finds out.”

That same Saturday, friends and family came out to deny the information. As revealed by ‘Pulzo’, Julian Roman, son of the actor, contacted that media to deny Álvaro Lemmon.

Likewise, the Instagram account of the Actuemos Foundation (@actuemosdeedgardoroman) left a comment on Lemmon’s publication in which he clarified that the photograph was old. “All is fake news“, it read.

In the story tool, the Foundation also denied the information: “The teacher and actor Edgardo Román has not suffered a heart attack. He is at home,” it read. They also left the following message: “We have received comments and insults towards me and my family. Put him down. It’s almost December already. A hug for everyone”.

Edgardo Román began his career in the 1970s and is one of the living legends of Colombian television. One of his most recent appearances was in the telenovela ‘La gloria de Lucho’ (2019), in which he played Gonzalo Díaz.

For his part, Álvaro Lemmon is a 75-year-old comedian, originally from Plato (Magdalena) and known as the ‘Caiman Man’. For 44 years, he accompanied Colombian viewers with his jokes, songs and popular sayings, as he was part of the cast of the ‘Sábados Felices’ program on ‘Caracol Televisión’.
