Ralf Rangnick believes Nagelsmann has a bright future, with Real Madrid a potential destination.
Julian Nagelsmann’s success brought about RB Leipzig penetrating the semi-finals of the Champions League, making him believed to be a coach Real Madrid one day.
That prediction was made by Nagelsmann’s predecessor at Leipzig, Ralf Rangnick, who is currently the Head of Sport and Development for Red Bull.
Rangnick admitted that he was very impressed with Nagelsmann’s performance in his debut season as a Leipzig tactician. The 33-year-old coach led his club to finish third in Bundesliga Germany and also went far in the Champions League before being stopped Paris Saint Germain of semi-final.
“I believe he can do well at Real Madrid,” Rangnick told Image.
“It is very likely that he will step into a better and bigger club [dari Leipzig], if he wants it. ”
Previously, Nagelsmann had been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu while he was still a coach Hoffenheim, but the offer was rejected in 2018.
