The German Football Association has settled on the new coach of the German Football Association, Julian Nagelsmann, according to what was announced by the German newspaper Bild and Kicker. Nagelsmann will receive 400,000 euros per month in exchange for supervising the training of the German national team until the 2024 European Championship in Germany.
The German Football Association announced that its president, Bernt Neuendorf, and sporting director, Rudi Föller, met in an initial meeting with Nagelsmann, and Neuendorf commented, “We are having good discussions.”
In recent days, the name of former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann has been widely circulated as the most prominent name nominated for this position. But Nagelsmann was initially reluctant to accept this challenge because, on the one hand, he was still bound by a contract with Bayern Munich, under which he received about 7 million euros annually, because Bayern was the one who unilaterally terminated his contract.
On the other hand, Nagelsmann himself, who is 36 years old, believes that coaching the German national team is very tempting, but he knows that achieving good results in the upcoming European Championship is not self-evident, given the current situation of the German national team.
Bayern Munich had previously indicated that it did not want to stand in the way of its former coach to become coach of the German national team. He expressed his willingness to terminate Nagelsmann’s contract to facilitate his transfer to the German national team on a free transfer. The contract with Bayern Munich was valid until 2026, and Nagelsmann was still entitled to around 20 million euros.

Horizontal lines!
It is known that horizontal stripes in clothing make one look fat, but for slim members of the German Federal Reserve this is not a problem. Timo Werner, Serge Gnabry, Nico Schulz and others chosen by coach Joachim Low will wear this white striped suit at Euro 2020.

Faded colours
This dull white uniform was worn by the German national team players at the World Cup in Russia in 2018. The Germans disappointed the Germans in that tournament. Pictured are Toni Kroos, Mats Hummels and Mesut Ozil. The latter retired from playing in the machinery team after that participation.

World Cup winners
The German team’s 2014 World Cup uniform was inspired by its 1990 World Cup counterpart in Italy. The three shades of red symbolize the colors of the German flag, and the black shorts were replaced with white ones. The photo shows Mario Götze during the winning goal in extra time in the World Cup final against Argentina, carrying a special value in the hearts of fans.

Men in black
Before World War II, the German team wore a black uniform. At the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, black returned to the uniform of the German Machinery team. Germany then claimed third place, thanks to Sami Khedira’s goal (right) against Uruguay.

A summer fairy tale
The 2006 World Cup in Germany is remembered as a “summer fairy tale.” In that year, Italy proved to be a rival to Germany, after scoring two goals in extra time in the semi-final against the German Germans. As for the shirts, the white was “embellished” with a little gold and red, along with a slight tinge of black.

France 1998
This year, the uniform retained its traditional white color with the addition of black, red and gold stripes in reference to the German flag, while three stars were inserted above the eagle, to indicate the three World Cup titles won by Germany. All of this did not help Germany; It lost to Croatia in the quarter-finals.

“Upside down” in America
The German team at the 1994 World Cup in the United States of America disappointed its fans, after Germany lost to Bulgaria in the quarter-finals, and it is clear that Lothar Matthäus and his coach Berti Vogts did not have a good time either, and as for the shirt… one can only wonder About whoever thought of drawing the German flag upside down!

Italy 1990
West Germany began wearing this uniform in 1988 during the European Championship, and only two years later, West and East German players united together to form the German Federal Reserve, and won the 1990 World Cup in Italy.

green
Until the European Championship in 2000, green was among the colors of the official uniform in the German Hanschaft’s away matches. In 1986, the team, led by Captain Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, was able to reach the final match against Argentina, which was held in Mexico City, but lost to Argentina by two goals to three. The Argentine national team was led by star Diego Maradona, who was at the height of his stardom at the time.

1974 World Cup
In the 1970s, the white color dominated the West German team’s shirts, as this color was considered the prominent feature along with the relatively large eagle. Gerd Müller and Wolfgang Overath dazzled in this suit after winning the 1974 World Cup in Munich.

Bern’s miracle
In 1954, the West German team, led by Captain Fritz Walter, wore a uniform similar to the 1974 uniform. At that time, West Germany was able to obtain the title of World Cup champion in a match with Hungary, led by the legendary Ferenc Puskas. This victory, dubbed the “Miracle of Bern”, was won on a flooded field in the Swiss capital, and is the first world title achieved by West Germany. Chuck Penfold/MS
