Julian Alvarez will officially become an Atletico Madrid player

The journey is over Julian Alvarez at Manchester City. The striker from Argentina was officially announced as a player Atletico Madrid.

“Atletico Madrid and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Julian Alvarez, who will join our club until 2030,” read Atletico’s official statement.

Atletico spent 75 million euros with 10 other variables in addition. Alvarez was keen to join Atletico rather than looking at other higher offers.

Man City certainly made a huge profit from this transfer value. The Citizens previously bought Alvarez from River Plate for 17 million pounds in 2022.

Alvarez has made 103 appearances with 36 goals for Man City in all competitions. Even though he has played a lot, Alvarez still feels that he is lacking in terms of playing minutes because Erling Haaland is at the Etihad Stadium.

Not wanting to always be in second place, Alvarez chose to leave last. In addition, he already has many prestigious titles at the age of 24 at club and national team level.
