Julia Kretz becomes the new head of Passage Linz

LINZ. Julia Kretz will take over the center management of the Linz city center shopping mall Passage from January 4, 2021. She succeeds Monika Sandberger, who is on maternity leave after seven years as managing director and center manager.

The retail expert Julia Kretz, granddaughter from the traditional Linz company Eiler, completed her business training at the European Educational Forum for the Shoe Retail (EBS Mainz) after graduating from high school. After various internships in leading shoe stores in Munich and Cologne, she moved to Schuhhaus Eiler in 1996, where she had been the manager since 2001.

As the new center manager, Julia Kretz wants to use her many years of experience to successfully further develop Passage Linz. It relies on hybrid concepts that optimally combine digital and stationary retail. “Right now people have become aware of how important social contacts are and that there is no substitute for a real product experience,” said Kretz in view of the current Corona situation.
