Julia Belei was one of the participants in the longlist of the competition.
Today, December 13, the organizers of the national selection for “Eurovision 2024” announced the list of longlist participants who have a chance to get to the final of the national selection.
This list includes nine performers. These are ANKA, Carpetman, KARYOTYPE, KRYLATA, PARFENIUK, SHEPA, STASYA, SWOIIA, TESLENKO. Some of them will become the 11th participant in the national selection for Eurovision. You can listen to their songs in our material. Ukrainians will choose one of them by voting in the “Diya” application, which will be opened soon.
As it became known, one of the longlist participants unexpectedly refused to compete for the opportunity to take part in the national selection. As Julia Belei explained, her decision was influenced by personal circumstances.
“Due to personal circumstances, I am forced to withdraw my candidacy from voting for the 11th finalist of the national selection of Eurovision in Ukraine,” commented Yulia.
Let us remind you that the final of the national selection for Eurovision 2024 will take place on February 3 next year. 10 participants made it to the finalswho will compete for the right to represent Ukraine at the music championship. The 11th finalist will be chosen by Ukrainians through voting in “Diya”.
The 68th International Song Contest “Eurovision 2024” will take place in Malmö, Sweden. The semi-finals, where Ukraine will participate, will take place on May 7 and 9, but the grand final will take place on May 11.
