The studied communication scientist has proven experience in marketing management of international technology and startup companies and started her career as a team leader in the SEO editorial team of the Berlin startup DS Digitale Seiten. Afterwards, Alunovic was Country Manager in Paris, responsible for building up the German business of the crowdfunding platform Leetchi.com. Most recently, Julia Alunovic was a member of the leadership team and was responsible for the global marketing and communication strategy at the digital health pioneer mySugr.

I start my day: preferably with yoga and coffee. In the morning, my cell phone has mostly paused to send and I only check my emails in the office.
Communication work is: an important factor in the success or failure of any business.
What I particularly appreciate about my work: the ongoing challenge of preparing new, complex content for different stakeholders in a way that is appropriate for the target group.
However, it bothers methat many laypeople often consider themselves marketing professionals or do not value our work much.
For my industry I would like: more courage to prepare your often very exciting information in a more appealing way and to make it more accessible to a lay audience.
I need media monitoring because we as a company need to know how we are talked about in public.
Apart from work I enjoy: Yoga, nature, travel. I am also a keen reader.
