In 1985, she sang Angel Badalamenti’s Mysteries of Love for David Lynch’s film Blue Velvet.

This was followed by the Twin Peaks series and the song Falling, which became a sensation and won a Grammy. Julee recorded more songs in the series, Into the Night and The Nightingale. She also appeared in person in the series as a bar singer.
