The noise of the engine and the smell of petrol are in the air in Julbach on Saturday and Sunday when the annual motocross race takes place. The race track is laid out in the former sand pit at the Julbach exit in the direction of Ulrichsberg. The area offers viewers a good view of large parts of the course, which is peppered with many descents, steep climbs and ten jumps.
The motocross weekend is a crowd puller every year and attracts many motorsport enthusiasts from the region. Due to the geographical proximity to the border, the Julbach motorsport enthusiasts have already made a name for themselves in Bavaria.
The schedule begins with a training Saturday from 11 a.m., whereby the drivers are divided into color-coded groups with corresponding time intervals. For the first time, the Amateur Masters Cup, the Lower Austrian state championship, will be hosted in Julbach this year.
The race Sunday starts at 8 a.m. The race is expected to be in nine classes with two races each, the end of the race at around 5.30 p.m. The spectators can look forward to an exciting race in children’s classes up to the fastest adult classes.
The MSC Julbach is already fully in the preparations for the ADAC 3 cities rally. On October 16, a separate Keramo fan zone will be set up in Julbach right in the center of the village.
