Judo: Ei.do.kan Castres on all fronts

After two complicated years due to the health crisis, the leaders and teachers of Ei.do.kan Castres Judo are working hard to energize the club.

Indeed, the Castres club has seen the number of its licensees increase by more than 30% this season; a very nice progression which places the Ei. Do. Kan among the most dynamic clubs in the Occitanie region according to France Judo.

On the sporting level and the resumption of competitions, the minipoussins and chicks have distinguished themselves during the last meetings; they have obtained numerous gold medals thus validating their technical skills.

As youngsters, Arroyo Circé and Modri Tom won the Tarn and zone championships and qualified for the grand regional final. The minimal Laïd Abbès Nour, Haurié Florian and Bouargoub Oussama will participate in an interdepartmental course in preparation for the French Cup by departmental teams. In cadets, Thor Matthew is qualified for the championship of France Espoirs. Finally, the seniors Garcel Guillaume, Gau Sylvain and Alvarez Damien have qualified for the Occitanie final.

Out of competition, activities have resumed with a vengeance, in particular with a group of taïso (Japanese gymnastics and muscle strengthening) in full development. The club is finalizing the organization of the big spring camp for 6-13 year olds which will take place from May 2 to 6. On June 19, the 37th Christian-Calmet challenge will take place at the dojo in Laden. The season will end with the club party scheduled for July 1.
