Likewise, the PRI coordinator, Manuel Añorve, stated that by agreement of the national leader of the tricolorAlejandro Moreno Cárdenas will not attend today’s session, since the approval of the reform was subject to pressure and threats against legislators and they will challenge the inconsistencies of the legislative process before the Supreme Court and will even go to international courts.
Yesterday morning, the president of the board of directors, Gerardo Fernández Noroña, called for the ordinary session of this Friday, to formulate the declaration of constitutionality of the judicial reform, once the documents that prove that the reform was approved in 21 local Congresses, the most recent of those of Mexico City and the State of Mexico, were received in that chamber.
During today’s session, the votes of the legislatures will be counted and since it already exceeds the simple majority required, the declaration will be made and it will be sent to the Chamber of Deputies, where the legislative process will be repeated and it will be sent to the federal executive, for its promulgation in the Official Gazette of the Federation.
