For 14 days of the trial he threatened and insulted the other participants in the trial. On Friday, the judges put an end to the unusual trial at the Munich regional court.
Olching/Munich – The Olchinger has to go to prison for two years and ten months.
The presiding judge, Norbert Riedmann, admitted that he had never experienced such a procedure in his 35 years of professional practice. Another participant in the trial described the verdict as a “gift” for the defendant.
The 59-year-old was charged because he called for protests on his Telegram channel three years ago. Those particularly affected were youth welfare offices, local courts and police stations, which took action following indications of child welfare endangerment. The defendant and some of his Telegram followers then called the government authorities, insulted employees and partially paralyzed business operations. The 59-year-old defended the actions in court: taking children from their families is “child theft.”
Reich citizens from Olching in court: criminal organization
The State Security Chamber had no doubts that the Olchinger had committed criminal offenses in 14 such cases for forming criminal organizations, and in even more cases for incitement to hatred and other crimes. Judge Riedmann described the engineer as an intelligent person who “got lost”. In addition to Reichsbürger theses and conspiracy theories, he was influenced by the American QAnon movement. Their representatives are of the opinion that an elite kidnaps and murders children in order to obtain a rejuvenation serum from their blood. The Olchinger “stirred up all of these theories well,” says Riedmann. When Corona came along, it was “finally done” for him.

Man comments on the announcement: “He is currently giving his death sentence”
Even before the verdict was announced, the Olchinger turned to his more than 30 followers. “Today you determine the sentence that you yourself will receive,” he said. Standing and with the Bible in his hands folded in prayer, he watched the rest of the proceedings – with his back turned to the judges. “He is currently handing out his death sentence,” he commented on the verdict.
Listening room cleared
When his sympathizers joined the defendant in chanting “Great God, we praise you,” Riedmann had the audience cleared. The chairman described it as incomprehensible that so many “run after the defendant and idolize him”. “It’s blasphemy what you’re doing as an asshole,” the Olchinger insulted him. This time the chamber decided not to impose a fine. Not on the previous days of the hearing: the fines add up to several thousand euros. If the defendant does not pay them, he will have to be imprisoned for several months for that reason alone.
In the overall sentence, the district court included a previous district court conviction of one and a half years, most of which Olchinger has already served. If you subtract his previous conviction, he was sentenced to just one year and four months for the crimes now accused. The public prosecutor, who had called for a total sentence of four years, now has one week to file an appeal. If the 59-year-old were to appeal to the Federal Court of Justice, it would be contradictory: after all, he denies the Federal Republic of Germany and its institutions any sovereign legitimacy.
