Before Lucy’s cake is eaten, judge Prue Leith has already commented. “We asked you to make a cake inspired by your favorite day out… If we asked for your worst nightmare, you would have won anyway.”
Then the other judge, Paul Hollywood, is brave enough to taste a piece of the pie. Within a second the piece is already spit out on the table. “I wouldn’t say it’s inedible, but it’s definitely close,” says Paul, who still looks a little dirty at the time. “I’ve never had a pie like this before. It’s bizarre.” He continues: “This is definitely one of the worst pies we’ve ever seen in the tent!”
