A new development in the ‘Al-Naf’a’ case appears on Monday, days after Deputy Chief Sir Hoda Salloum Commission lawyer Marwan Daher accused Judge Nazik Al-Khatib of committing unlawful abuse against Salloum, addressing personal insults to her, exerting pressure on her, and investigating her with a file dating back to the year 2019 is being examined by the investigating judge of Beirut”.
As Head of the Authority and Director General of the Department of Traffic, Machinery and Vehicles, Engineer Hoda Salloum, through his representative, Attorney Marwan Daher, submitted a request for a response to the Appellate Prosecution , Judge Nazik Al-Khatib, and the latter was informed of the request, which means that Judge Al-Khatib’s hand has been withheld from the “Al-Nafia” case, until the request is decided.
Salloum filed a lawsuit against the Lebanese State, represented by the Judicial Authority at the Ministry of Justice, due to several points, in particular the leak of secret information, the failure to sign the minutes of the investigation conducted by Judge Nazik Al-Khatib or of her legal representative, and the seizure of the documents of the plaintiff’s representative at her home to prevent him from exercising the right of defence, to seize the special information relating to financial reporting and to violate article 8 of the TUF.
