Jude Bellingham temporarily transformed into a goal machine Real Madrid and LaLiga’s top scorer. The English midfielder was praised Charles Ancelotti.
Bellingham determined Madrid’s 2-1 win over Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu, Saturday (2/9/2023) evening WIB. El Real actually fell behind in the first half due to Borja Mayoral’s goal.
Joselu then leveled the score early in the second half. When the match looked like it was going to be a draw, Bellingham scored a goal in injury time to bring Madrid to victory.
Bellingham has now collected five goals from four Madrid matches. He is also the current top scorer in LaLiga.
“He is a player who learns very quickly. There is no need to say it many times,” Ancelotti said as Madrid coach, quoted from AS.
“We’ve shown him videos of what we like about him when he plays for Dortmund. What has changed is that he moves a lot,” he continued.
Bellingham is a midfielder assigned to attack more. His movements also very often get to the opponent’s penalty box.
“He mostly moves without the ball into the opponent’s area. He is a player who always dribbles towards the opponent’s goal, not backwards,” Ancelotti explained.
