The Supercup 2021 did not end well for Borussia Dortmund – BVB ultimately had to admit defeat to FC Bayern with 1: 3. For a fan of the black and yellow, the evening still had a nice end – thanks to a BVB youngster!
Two goals from Robert Lewandowski and one from Thomas Müller were too many, Marco Reus’ goal only caused tension in the meantime – FC Bayern won the Supercup in 2021 3-1 against Borussia Dortmund.
After the final whistle, Jude Bellingham made a heartwarming action for a fan with a disability, regardless of the defeat.
The young Englishman set out after the game to give away his jersey, looked briefly over the stands and then spotted the wheelchair user and his companion.
The 18-year-old then went to the two of them with determination, gave the fan his jersey, exchanged a few words with him and his companion and thus made both of them smile. A strong action by the Englishman, which apparently got under his skin too.
That evening, Bellingham posted a video of the action in his Instagram story, and BVB itself shared the story with the hashtag “BorussiaVerbindet” – and that won’t change even if you lose!
