Last Thursday was The Passion to see again. With 2.6 million viewers, the Easter spectacle was a great success. New this year was that English songs were also used to tell the Passion of Jesus. There was a translated version of it Tears in Heaven from Eric Clapton, but also Human from Rag’n’Bone Man. Especially the last song sung by Judas Rob Dekay was appreciated.
Prior to Dekay said about that role: ,, Judas is an interesting figure because he is a good example of how good can come from something bad. He’s often the bad guy with the burning eyes, but he’s also just a human flesh and blood. I think that is very nice to put it down like this. ” With those words ‘just a person of flesh and blood’ he is now storming the charts.

Last night, the singer joined Humberto Tan’s talk show, together with Remco Veldhuis who translated the song. There he was allowed I’m only human play again and it caught on. Not only is there success in the charts, but Dekay also receives many compliments. “If only I had one such voice chord”, Veldhuis joked, among other things. “I’m on a cloud”, Dekay admitted.
For the time being, the 34-year-old from Deventer is not disappearing from the spotlights yet. He stated in the talk show that Radio 2 had already promised to play the song frequently. There was also hinted at a participation of Dekay Dear Singers. He was previously seen as Mol in Who is the mole?
