Juan Pablo Medina will participate in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games

The famous actor, Juan Pablo Medina, who has stood out for his roles in series such as ‘La Casa de las Flores’ and ‘Soy tu fan’, has announced that he will travel to the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games as an ambassador for a major prosthesis brand.

The actor’s story has inspired thousands of people in Mexico after his right leg was amputated due to complications from a venous thrombosis. He has also participated in various sporting events since he has a prosthesis, as reported by Tribune.

The artistic representative Triana Casados ​​was the first to announce that Juan Pablo Medina will travel to the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024. Shortly after, the actor himself shared some photographs on his official Instagram account, where he thanked for this important moment in his life:

“Thank you for allowing me to live this great experience and meet such beautiful people,” wrote the 46-year-old American actor, which earned him congratulations from a large number of colleagues in the media.

Linet Puente, Paul Stanley and Andrea Legarreta were some of the celebrities who expressed their support for the actor, who will be present, although he will not compete, in the Olympic events that will begin on August 28, 2024 in the ‘City of Lights’.

The actor will represent the Otto Bock brand of sports prosthetics, which has already allowed him to participate in a race alongside Heinrich Popow, an athlete and Paralympic gold medalist in London 2012 and Rio 2016.
