Mr. Juan José Santiváñez Antúnez was appointed, this Thursday, April 19, as the new Vice Minister of Internal Order of the Ministry of the Interior through Supreme Resolution No. 073-2024-IN that was published in the official newspaper El Peruano.
The appointment of Santiváñez Antúnez was signed by the President of the Republic, Dina Boluarte Zegarra, and by the Minister of the Interior, Walter Ortiz Acosta, receiving the confidence of both authorities for the development of his functions.
Juan José Santiváñez assumes this function after said position was unvacant.
He is a lawyer from the University of San Martín de Porres; LLM in Oral Litigation from the California Western School of Law (USA), Master in Political Action and Citizen Participation, from the Rey Juan Carlos University (Spain).
As recalled, Santiváñez Antúnez held the position of Chief of Staff of Advisors of the Senior Management of the Ministerial Office of the Ministry of the Interior of former Minister Víctor Torres Falcón.
He has a Master’s degree in Legal Argumentation at the University of León (Spain). She has completed the Diploma in Disciplinary Law from the Center for Latin American Socio-Legal Studies (Colombia) and High Specialization Studies in Disciplinary Law, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Colombia (Colombia).
