Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – One of the former directors of AJB Bumiputera opened his voice regarding the chaos that occurred within the insurance company. Ana Mustamine, former Director of HR and General Affairs of Bumiputera for the period 2016-2018, wrote an open letter to the Financial Services Authority (OJK)
In her open letter, Ana tells about the dynamics of solving cases that befell an insurance company that is 110 years old.
Ana wrote a letter addressed to the Chief Executive of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) IKNB Supervisor, Riswinandi, Ana said that he had only been confirmed for more than a month as a director until he was finally deactivated because OJK had lowered the Statutory Manager (PS) in Bumiputera. A few months earlier, Ana was an acting member of the board of directors.
The deactivation was carried out on October 21, 2016. “A history that cannot be erased in my memory,” wrote Ana in an open letter also received by CNBC Indonesia, Friday (11/2/2022).
Ana admits that she still remembers well how OJK sent consultants to Bumiputera before the Statute Manager was appointed. No half-hearted, a consortium of consultants led by Paribas International. It includes legal consultants, actuarial consultants, marketing consultants, HR consultants, property consultants, and communication consultants.
“All top consultants, whom we know have insane salaries, involve personnel from 3 countries outside Indonesia. But we welcome it, for the sake of a big plan called restructuring and transformation. Moreover, this consultant is directly assigned by the OJK,” explained Ana.
