Thanks to the failure of the competition, they never really got into trouble, but after New Year KAS Eupen also got warm underfoot. In the end, however, they managed to manage quite easily on the Kehrweg, partly thanks to goalkeeper Smail Prevljak.
The 26-year-old Bosnian transferred from RB Salzburg just before the conclusion of the winter mercato and promptly signed four goals in five appearances for the Pandas. However, there will certainly not be a follow-up to that daring feat, because just like with attack partner Jonathan Bolingi, the lease will not be extended. Eupen just announced this himself.
Prevljak could soon be a potential opportunity for the higher ranked clubs in the Jupiler Pro League, because in Salzburg he seems to have little future despite his two-year contract. According to Transfermarkt the striker’s market value is also estimated at an affordable two million. So we have to wait and see whether one of the POI candidates is attempting.
Thanks for everything Smail and Jonathan ????????????
