The coronavirus pandemic will end in 2022 and the world will move towards a full economic recovery, US investment bank JP Morgan predicts, quoted by Reuters.
The bank’s forecast report says new vaccines and drugs will lead to “strong cyclical recovery, a return to global mobility and a release of delayed consumer demand”.
According to Marko Kolanovic, chief market strategist and co-chair of global research, the bank expects the Standard & Poor’s index to rise by about 8 percent to 5,060 points, emerging market stocks to rise 18 percent and 10-year stocks US government bonds – key to the price of global loans – to rise by 2.25 percent by the end of 2022
“We believe that 2022 will be the year of full global recovery, an end to the pandemic and a return to normal economic and market conditions as they were before the advent of the coronavirus,” Kolanovic said.
