The mother of the famous virologist Assoc. Prof. Atanas Mangarov is celebrating her centenary.
He announced the news on Facebook, where he uploaded a photo from the celebration and wrote: “Dr. Elena Kostova Mangarova, 100 years old.”
Assoc. Prof. Mangarov’s mother is also a doctor. She graduated in medicine in Croatia and then practiced in Stara Zagora for many years.
