It’s the hardest part of the job. We have a lot of kids and young ones and at a very good footballing age. We have more experienced guys who need us. Games play an important role because unfortunately I cannot train them on a daily basis. It’s not just the 3 strikers. We have very good players in all positions.
-The elements that Greece should have with Finland: The level of the Nationals is always very interesting. Each country represents something of its own. We have rivals whose main element is competitiveness. England have had the same manager for 6 years and have a good level of how they want to play. We definitely want to win. There is no question of what we want. It will be a boost for the players themselves. As a dominant element to have patience and good circulation. Finland defends well and counter attacks.
Because we will be playing at home, we will be in a great mood. It won’t be easy but nothing is easy. It’s a new beginning. To complete as a player they must have a very big success. The National team and a big event is something that stays forever as they did generations ago. This generation should also try to do so.

Of course I have made a decision about the 11. But I always have thoughts about readiness because we also have a game in 3 days against Ireland. We are in a very good mood and that is important.
-The diversity of his position as a technician in the National Team: I cannot suddenly change my thinking and my philosophy because I am in the National Team. I will try to make the 11 depending on the need. It has nothing to do with the opponent. We have analyzed him. We know him well. The more things we want to bring to the pitch. This first game should represent the Greek element. Temperament, ego and right now that’s the asset I want to bring to the game.
