Journey of Russian Size: From Breakup to New Beginnings

After the breakup of the group, the musicians went their separate ways.

The Russian Size group thundered throughout the country in the 90s. Unusual for the Russian listener, rave and synth-pop music fell in love with young people and sounded at every disco.

The duet consisted of two guys, Viktor Bondaryuk and Dmitry Kopotilov, known as “Kapa”. Already in the late 90s, the popularity of Russian Size began to decline, and in 2005 the team fell apart. Dmitry remained in the group along with a new member, Igor Lutsenko.

Viktor Bondaryuk, who lost the right to the name he invented in court, began a new project, Project Size, and today he is a member of 140 beats per minute.

Both musicians are active on social media. The group’s most loyal fans never cease to be amazed at how much the artists have changed over the years. Viktor Bondaryuk looks exactly the same as at the peak of his career, only the hair color has changed. Kopotilov, on the contrary, became very old and gained several tens of extra pounds.
