The efficiency of the cooling system of the new generation Microsoft console is at a fairly high level. PS4 Pro gets hotter even on the menu
Journalists from the Italian website Everyeye.it tested the next-generation Microsoft console on the degree of heating in various games. Good news: Xbox Series X will not burn your hands and smoke your wallpaper – system temperatures rarely go over 50 degrees Celsius. Average values hover around 45 degrees, and if you just poke around in the menu, the value drops to a modest 34.5. Game data:
- DiRT 5 (at 120 fps) – 49 degrees
- Monster Hunter World – 46 degrees
- DOOM Eternal – 45.5 degrees
- Control – 44.5 degrees
- Sea of Thieves – 44 degrees
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps — 43 градуса
For comparison, the Xbox One X ran up to 60 degrees in games, and simple menu navigation made the PS4 Pro warm up to 39.5 degrees.
