Journalist from Huila was injured in attempted robbery in Neiva • La Nación


In the midst of an incident of insecurity that occurred last night in a busy commercial area of ​​the capital of Huila, Silvia Lorena Artunduaga, a Blu Radio journalist, was injured.

The social communicator was crossing, along with another colleague, the pedestrian crossing that connects the shopping centers of San Pedro Plaza with San Juan Plaza, when she was approached by a subject on a black motorcycle who pulled her by her bag to steal her belongings.

During the event, Silvia was dragged by the criminal, suffering a strong blow against the asphalt. As a result of the fall, she had a fracture at the level of her collarbone, so she will have to undergo surgery today.

At the moment the journalist is stable and admitted to the Medilaser clinic in the capital of Huila. The community has reported that this place located on Carrera 16 between Calle 41 and Calle 46, would be frequented by this motorcyclist, who had already stolen on different occasions in the same modality.

The residents of Neiva ask the authorities to increase security in areas that have been affected by crime.
