Charles Watts has claimed on his YouTube channel that Leicester City are leading the race for Odsonne Edouard, not Arsenal.
The well-known and respected journalist, who now works as Arsenal’s correspondent for Goal.com, has said that Leicester are the Celtic forward’s favorite.
Watts has said that Arsenal are also interested in the former Paris Saint-Germain striker, having previously reported the Gunners’ desire to secure the youngster’s services as well.

Journalist Ian McGarry said on the transfer window podcast last week that Arsenal, as well as Liverpool, are going after the 23-year-old, as covered by HITC Sport.
Watts said of Edouard on his YouTube channel: “From what I hear it suggests that Leicester is the pioneer in that one.”

And Leicester City or Arsenal?
Arsenal are a huge club and a global brand, but Edouard worked with Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers at Celtic.
The Foxes could end up in the Champions League next season, and that would appeal to the 23-year-old as well.
With Celtic seeking £ 20 million as a transfer fee for Edouard, as reported by Eurosport, it remains to be seen whether Leicester or Arsenal are willing to pay it.
According to WhoScored, Edouard has scored 16 goals and provided three assists in 26 Scottish Premiership games for Celtic so far this season.
