Journalist addresses the potential of digital diplomacy in MIREX strategies – Jornal OPaís

Angolan journalist and researcher António de Sousa Simbo launches, tomorrow, at the Journalist Training Center (CEFOJOR), his first literary work entitled “Digital Diplomacy – A solution for promoting the image of Angola”, which is a contribution to politics national external.

According to the author, who also has a degree in international relations, the book provides an analysis of the new, current and innovative advantages of digital diplomatic practices, focused on the potential of this diplomatic segment in the strategies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX).

The interest in approaching this topic, he explains, also resided in the need for the literary work to serve as an incentive for the integration of the potential of digital diplomacy in MIREX’s strategies for the materialization of the objectives of Angolan foreign policy, and that of its embassies.

On the other hand, highlights António de Sousa, the book, which is published under the seal of the publisher NHCONTEUDOS, also constitutes an added value, above all, for the coverage and execution of MIREX’s diplomatic acts. António de Sousa Simbo is from Buco-Zau, Cabinda province. He has been a journalist since 1991, working for Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA) where he began his career, in Cabinda.
