Musician and front man of the Kotiteollisuus band Jouni Hynynen has not always supported himself with music.

Hynynen talks about his career path in an interview with Anna magazine.

After high school, Hynynen worked as a packer and a helper on buildings. When things started to get dull, Hynynen lived on unemployment benefits for a while. Stupid too. Hynynen applied to be a school attendance assistant at the Lappeenranta hospital school and later acquired a qualification for it.

Hynynen saw that the children had had to experience domestic violence and rejection. Later, former students stopped Hyny on the street. One praised the guitar mold made in the woodworking class. The other one had received a fashion for his own life with Hynynen’s help.

– In the end, my dome could no longer withstand that dune. It felt like there were no tools to help. However, my childhood had been good and safe, Hynynen tells Anna.

Hynynen was seen last year Only life in the program. The participation can be considered surprising, because Hynynen had previously missed the program.

– The truth is that I hadn’t seen any Only life season or even one episode in advance. To put it in Finnish, I had thought everything was bullshit, even though I hadn’t seen the program at all, Hynynen told Iltalehte.
