Liverpool are chasing their third league win in a row and will at the same time try to fight back after the humiliating experience against Real Madrid in midweek. Tonight’s opponent is Crystal Palace, a team that has proved difficult to beat – but at the same time has not tasted three points for quite some time.
Jürgen Klopp makes four changes compared to the team that faced Real Madrid on Tuesday – Joel Matip, Naby Keita, James Milner and Diogo Jota come in for Joe Gomez, Fabinho, Stefan Bajcetic and Darwin Nunez. The latter is not in the squad, and neither is Gomez.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Nunez is still feeling the shoulder injury he suffered against Newcastle last weekend.
As for Crystal Palace’s team, star Wilfried Zaha did not make it, while the man who assisted Zaha at Anfield, Eberechi Eze, is on the bench.
