Sports writing, Oct 3 (EFE) .- A goal by Portuguese Joao Filipe ‘Jota’ re-enlisted Celtic on the path to victory in the Scottish League after beating Aberdeen (1-2), on the eighth day of the competition.
The Australian team Ange Postecoglou, Betis rival in the Europa League, had two games without winning that had distanced him from the leadership held by Rangers.
Celtic took the lead in the eleventh minute through Japan’s Kyogo Furuhashi but Aberdeen tied in the second half thanks to Lewis Ferguson.
It was five minutes from the end when Jota appeared to score and give the fourth victory of the course to the Glasgow team, sixth in the table, six points behind the leader, Rangers. EFE
