SAN ANTONIO, Texas. – Joshua Palmaa 19-year-old, was murdered at prom organized by students attending the San Antonio William Taft Preparatory School.

The teenager lost his life in the early hours of June 19 at the holiday he was accompanying a friend.

San Antonio Police reported that Joshua was shot after an argument, in which a person whose identity is unknown pulled out a gun and shot him.

William PalmJoshua’s father, assures that “everyone knows who the attacker is, but they have not wanted to say it because maybe they are afraid.”

However, the young man’s family begs those who were present to go to the local authorities to find the person who killed Joshua.

“They’re not going to give it back to me, I’m not going to hold it back… I feel very pained and angry. Please, all the parents, talk to your boys and those who know something, please go with the police and say what you know, please, so that they do justice for my child,” said Mary Bellymother of the young man, in front of the Univision 41 cameras.

Joshua was scheduled to leave for the Army on June 30.

A detective told Univision 41 that they have interviewed several people, however, the investigation continues because they are more than 50 witnesses.

Although the investigation is ongoing, Angie Plata and his family ask people to go to the police and hand over evidence because he understands that there must be photos and videos of the moment. “I know it’s a traumatic event, but we live in the 21st century and there are phones. I know there are photos and videos,” she said.
