Olympic champion London London Joshua 2012 in the hall at Wembley in front of a thousand spectators, including the never-beaten American Floyd Mayweather, scored his 24th victory in the 25th match in the professional ring.
“I started playing this game in 2013 and I was collecting belts. I want to box with anyone who has those belts. If it means Tyson Fury, then let it be Tyson Fury,” said Joshua with the prospect of an attractive British duel.
He sent 39-year-old Pulev to the ground twice in the third round, but Bulhar stumbled and resisted the favorite. Joshua definitely broke his resistance in the ninth of the twelve laps, at the end of which he first grounded Puleva with a right jack, and when the former amateur European champion got back on his feet, he ended the match with another hard right.
Veteran Pulev suffered a second defeat in the 30th duel and probably did not take the last chance to win the championship belt. In 2014, he lost in the title match to Vladimir Klitschko.
On the other hand, Joshua seems to be looking forward to a longing-looking unification duel with Fury next year, especially in Britain, on which he has been preliminarily agreed.
