Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya is investigating Joseph Suryadi related to allegations blasphemy, Tuesday (14/12). It is known, the urge to arrest Joseph circulated on social media. In fact, the hashtag #TangkapJosephSuryadi appeared on Twitter.
“We are being asked for information at the Polda,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E Zulpan when contacted.
Zulpan has not explained in detail about the examination of Joseph. Including whether investigators will dig up information about the alleged blasphemy.
Zulpan said that initially Joseph’s case was handled by the National Police Headquarters. However, due to monitoring from the Cyber Team of the Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro, at this time Joseph was also being investigated and questioned.
“The police’s cyber monitoring is related to what many people are asking now, then the regional police take information. I can’t take it yet” statement First, wait for the results of the examination to finish first,” he said.
On the other hand, Zulpan also still has not commented on Joseph’s confession that his cellphone (HP) was lost.
“He said that (the cellphone was lost) so later when it was finished being examined by the Polda cyber team, then information could be taken, yes. It’s not finished yet,” said Zulpan.
Joseph Suryadi’s name has gone viral on social media lately. The name was linked to a case of alleged blasphemy.
An account on Twitter that also echoed the hashtag Joseph Suryadi uploaded two photos allegedly related to this case.
The first photo shows the figure of a man with glasses. However, it is not known whether the man is Joseph Suryadi.
Then, the second photo shows a screenshot of a WhatsApp group showing a caricature of a man and a woman. The caricature was accompanied by an inscription about the figures of Aisyah and the Prophet in inappropriate sentences, then linked it to the rape case of 12 female students in Bandung with the perpetrators of HW. It is suspected that the two photos are related to the alleged blasphemy by Joseph Suryadi, but there has been no confirmation from the police.
