Russian music legend Yosif Kobzon landed in VIP at Sofia Airport. He is accompanied by his wife Nellie, with whom they are celebrating a ruby wedding this year. Kobzon and Nellie were personally welcomed by the president of “Joker Media” Hovhannes Melik-Pashaev and his daughter Liyana.
A day after the presidential elections in Russia and the victory of Vladimir Putin, the deputy of the Russian Duma Kobzon told the gathered journalists how much he loves Bulgaria and is sad that this is his last concert here.
He told how much he had a good time during his many visits here, mentioning Sunny Beach and our primate Lili Ivanova, as well as many of his friends among the stars and journalists in our country. Kobzon is one of the Russian artists who have Bulgarian songs in their repertoire, the most popular being “One Bulgarian Rose”.
He and Nelly leave Bulgaria late tomorrow evening, continuing the singer’s 70th anniversary tour.
The concert dedicated to International Women’s Day is tomorrow, March 6, in the “Bulgaria” hall at 7 p.m.
