Fans of Libuše Šafránková from Brno and the surrounding area had the opportunity to say goodbye to their beloved Cinderella for the last time on Friday. The second mourning ceremony took place in Šlapanice and the son of the deceased star Josef Abrhám Jr. did not hold back tears in an unexpected surprise.

Libuše Šafránková was one of the most popular actresses in our country, so saying goodbye to her was in line with her popularity. The family arranged two funerals for the actress, the first took place on 25.06. in Smíchov, Prague, and on Friday, fans could say goodbye to the actress in their native Šlapanice.

Dozens of guests gathered at both mourning events and came to give their unforgettable Cinderella one last goodbye.

Despite the distance, the widower Josef Abrhám was present, who arrived accompanied by his son and grandchildren. The family could be seen holding them together in a difficult time. As in the church in Spořilov, the second last farewell also included the famous daisies, as a reminder of the first role of Libuška Šafránková in the film Grandmother.

The parade through the city was accompanied by a band founded many years ago by Miroslav Šafránek, the father of Libuška Šafránková. Just before the urn was placed in the family grave, the musicians began playing a legendary song from the fairy tale Three Nuts for Cinderella, during which Cinderella danced at a ball.

Josef Abrhám Jr., who is the only son of Libuše Šafránková and Josef Abrhám, did not survive at that moment, and he endures the death of his beloved mother with great pain in his heart.
