The legendary Cinderella has her second funeral on Friday. In Šlapanice near Brno, where Libuše Šafránková grew up, she places her in a family grave after a funeral mass.

The city has published a detailed program of final farewell to the eternal princess of Czech film. The Holy Mass behind Šafránková began at 6 pm, served by Father Jan Nekuda. Friends and colleagues of the late actress Jan Kačer and Bolek Polívka will speak during the ceremony. The Mass is projected on a screen by the church, where it can be watched by the public.

Mass will be followed by a procession from the church to the cemetery. There, she places the urn of Šafránková in the family grave, where her parents are already resting. His husband Josef Abrhám, who is dependent on a wheelchair, also arrived.

“The cars of the funeral participants will be diverted to the parking lot at the cemetery, all places, including the new parking lot,” the organizers informed. People should also park along the road and in the parking lot to the brickyard, further along the road from the crossroads to Žurán.

The first farewell to Šafránková took place last Friday in the church of St. Anežka in Spořilov, Prague. The actress visited him for many years. Supporters could say goodbye to her before the ceremony, and then watched Mass on large screens.
