An official source in Al-Shabab Club confirmed to Al-Riyadiah that they have official approval from the Portuguese Jose Mourinho to take over as coach of the first football team during the current period.
The source indicated that Al-Shabab sent Mourinho’s approval to the recruitment committee and is awaiting the green light during this week in order to complete the contract or reject it to dismiss it, before the start of his winter camp in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Regarding the winter deals, the source confirmed that the youth reached an agreement with the Italian striker Politano and his agent, and is awaiting approval, and the matter depends on the acceptance of his club, Napoli, and its president, De Laurentiis, with whom the youth administration met and celebrated him while he was in Riyadh to participate in the Italian Super Cup tournament.
In addition, the Youth Administration is awaiting the completion of the formal procedures to include Brazilian Marcelo Grohe, the Al-Ittihad goalkeeper, after his club agreed to loan him during the current winter transfer period.
