José Morais asked to leave Sepahan. The information was confirmed by the president of the Iranian team himself.
“He asked to leave. We are talking to him and trying to remove him, but he is very angry, and I think rightly so, because of what has happened in these months”, he said.
The Iranian team lost 1-0 to Caspian Qazvin this Monday and registered their third consecutive defeat in the Iranian championship.
Despite the series of bad results, Sepahan is fourth in the Iranian League, five points behind leader Esteghlal.
José Morais has been with the Iranian team since last season and finished the last championship in second place.
