José Miguel Garrido in SER: “I don’t want a position in the club, but to contribute to it” | Radio Club Tenerife | Present

It was once again topical in the antenna of Cadena SER José Miguel Garrido. The businessman who aspires to gain a foothold in the shareholders of CD Tenerife wanted to review the news of the blue and white team and in the extra-sports field. With regard to the latter, and in the face of the next elections for the club’s presidency, he declared on the Cadena SER antenna that “whether or not he is present in the elections, I understand that Miguel Concepción is making decisions in the medium or long term although it is in these elections when the decision to choose a candidate has to be made, so in my opinion it would not be good if there was a single project, “he explained.

Garrido also wanted to give his opinion about the non-continuity of Rubén Baraja at the head of the blue and white bench, pointing out that “it is not a surprise that he does not continue. You could see why whoever wants to be in a project doesn’t wait that long, but he has done his job and is free to decide for his future, “he said.

Garrido revealed that today there is contact with the current club board, although he is clear about his intentions: “there is dialogue with the president to contribute our bit. There are things that we think should be changed. The relationship is very fluid and there are contacts because we want to choose to do different things to be able to opt for different objectives. I have no other powers than being one of the three shareholders with the most shares, “he declared on Cadena SER’s antenna.

As one of the main shareholders of the club, Garrido wanted to make it clear that it is not his intention to occupy any position that “what we want is to contribute and we are grateful that we are counted on because we want the best for the club,” he concluded.
