Deporpress Editorial | José León will support Ramis in his decision. The Tenerife center-back appeared at a press conference this Thursday, April 13, and explained how the team is experiencing these weeks away from promotion, the arrival of the new sports director and the future of Ramis.

Do not disconnect from the season.- “We are professionals, this ends at the end of May, we must not get carried away at any time, this is our job. From the coaching staff they instill it in us from day to day, we are a very hard-working team, from there we have objectives to achieve as soon as possible.”
Did Tenerife deserve more against Lugo? “We played a great game, but as has been happening this season we have not been lucky in front of goal, we did not materialize the chances we have. Another game where we were left with very good feelings but without the three points, it was a great rival, what you work on during the week is reflected on the field, we will fight every week to deliver.”
What do you expect from Ibiza? “It is a team that is risking its life, at the competition level, super motivated, each duel is going to be to the death, we have to counter it with that level of forcefulness, do as much damage as possible with our weapons, and create chances to win. “We play at home, we know that things have gone very well for our fans and we want to give them more joy and get the three points.”
Individual defensive level.- “I am having continuity and I feel very confident, I want to continue like this, return that confidence to the coach and help my teammates in whatever way I can, we do well, and we can be as high as possible, it is not the same as being a position above than one below”
It comes from the new sports director.- “Happy because it is a right decision on the part of the club, he is from the house, he has his own feeling for this club, the references I have about him are good, he is serious about his work, and he tries to add, we are delighted that people like this arrive”
The team’s new project.- “The club has always conveyed to us that clear idea about the new project, whoever is on the bench or in sports management at the time. “We are very calm, focused on what concerns us, with what the coach decides, we don’t know what will happen in a few months, but we will support him in his decision.”
Future renewal? “Here I am very happy, very grateful to the club and the fans, I felt that closeness with the fans from the first day, very focused on the present, on the points to maintain permanence, but I can’t tell you much more.”
Future of Ramis? “I have known the coach for many years, his performance has been very good, he has squeezed the players very well, even the fans, last season he did very well. “He has earned our support, but we will welcome whoever comes with open arms.”
Borja Garcés’ words about not settling for permanence.- “Yes, especially because of the sensations, it is a group that could have achieved more ambitious things, we have to be realistic, we are professionals, and at the end of the season we will see where we are.”
Win against those at the top and lose with those at the bottom? “I don’t know, it draws attention, the Las Palmas game was special, but then we prepare all the games the same, it will be due to details, it’s curious”
