José Joel Sosa, legitimate son of the Mexican singer José José, showed his disagreement with Brian Álvarez, the artist’s imitator, remembered in the country for winning the second season of the program ‘Yo me llama’ in 2012.
The impersonator continues to claim to be the artist’s son despite the negative DNA test.

In a will that my father had obtained in 1988, he was still married to my mother
The eldest son of the singer José José spoke about different topics in an interview on the Caracol Televisión program ‘La Red’, among the most controversial are his father’s inheritance and his supposed Colombian brother.
According to his statements, the problem of inheritance lies in who is using the assets left by his father. According to Sosa, in a will made in 1988 by the singer, his property was transferred to his first wife Ana Elena Noreña, mother of the complainant. However, the properties and objects left were being occupied by his other brothers.
“In a will that my father had obtained in 1988, he was still married to my mother, and until this moment it did not change, that’s how it stayed, that’s how he left it,” he said. Despite this, he confirms that Sarita Sosa Salazar , another of the singer’s daughters, resides in one of the properties in Miami.
“There were 2 or 3 pages that established that everything that had to do with and was owned by José José immediately became the property of Mrs. Ana Elena Noreña,” José Joel explained in the program.

What happens with the José José imitator?
I feel sorry for myself, I feel disgusted, all the negative adjectives are what this person makes me feel.
Brian Fanier, the young Colombian who claimed to be the son of José José and who now calls himself Manuel José, continues to be a point of tension for the Mexican’s family, since, despite the negative blood relationship confirmed by a DNA test , the man goes on to say that he is the artist’s family.
Given these facts, José Joel said that he feels sorry for the persistence and that he plans to initiate legal proceedings against him for showing a false DNA test in which it is stated that the renowned Mexican artist was actually his father.
“It makes me feel sorry, it makes me sick, the whole negative adjective is what this person makes me feel for continuing to insist on something that today has him on the ropes,” he commented.
Likewise, he also reported that the Colombian makes some of his fans insult the singer’s relatives.
“He’s already so messed up in the head that he doesn’t realize that if that’s the path he follows, that’s jail. We are already in the legal position to see what we can do with all these people,” concluded José Joel.
