José ‘Brujo’ Martínez arrives in Brazilian football with these numbers

After four years as a star of the Philadelphia Union, Venezuelan José Andrés ‘Brujo’ Martínez ends his cycle in Major League Soccer to head to Brazilian football.

The footballer is already travelling to Sao Paulo, where he will sign his new contract with Corinthians, a team that will acquire his services for almost two million dollars over the next few seasons.

Martínez, born in Zulia state, leaves Philadelphia Union after having played eighteen games in MLS, the Concacaf Champions Cup and the Leagues Cup. In all competitions, he recorded one assist. He was also called up to Venezuela for the Copa América, reaching the quarterfinals.
