DMost people can probably recognize themselves in the desire to fix their hair, steadily and constantly. Whether it’s about freshening up the mane, or giving yourself a whole new look – the straight-out-of-the-hairdresser’s chair feels like little.
Reveals his real hair
Jorun Stiansen (38), previously known from both “Idol” and “Skal vi danse”, can sign it. She herself went maybe a little further than most.
According to her, she was completely hooked on new hair weaves. Long.
– There were only tufts and tiles left of my own hair. Then I got a little shock, I must admit, says Stiansen to KK.
–
– I was hooked
Recently, Stiansen shared an ever so small look back at a selection of his own welds on his Instagram profile. To this day, she still works with hairdressers to build strong, healthy and natural hair again.
Celebrity corona hair: – Terrible
– Thank you and praise for it growing out again, so to speak!
– When I see the pictures from when I walked around with urine-bleached yellow hair, I die a little inside, she admits.
But still, every weld reminds her of an era and time in life that is fun to look back on.
– I remember the feeling I had after my hair was dried, and I stood there with a new color or cut – ready to conquer the city and the clubs with my best friends, Stiansen laughs.
–
The love for hair and hairstyles started early. Already in primary school.
– Mom worked as a hairdresser in the beginning, and cut me, among other things, completely pin cards at primary school, and otherwise my tips at home when my hair was long. And it worked like a mountain, she says.
But then, after much fuss, she was finally allowed to have an appointment with the hairdresser. Then some red stripes should be dyed in.
– I was in ecstasy. The hairdresser was not so happy as I had enormously thick hair at the time, so it was always a lot of work when I came to visit!
–
– In eighth grade, I was allowed to dye my hair at home myself, and went straight to the Spar store and bought myself L’Oréal’s charcoal black hair dye. I was hooked, says Stiansen.
As a 19-year-old, she had far from had enough of the hair transformations. The famous “Idol weld” from 2005, was made by a friend.
Reveals hair transplant
– I remember I told my mother that I wish I had as many wigs in different colors and styles as I had socks, she remembers.
A new weld or a new hair color always gave a good feeling and a real confidence boost.
– I was probably a little too hooked on that feeling back in the daysshe admits.
–
– Got scared
With so many different looks, there are naturally a couple she regrets. Stiansen has no problem highlighting two very different ones in particular:
– It must be my completely pale look, and a weld that should really be a long bob. I looked like a lampshade. With my thick hair!
This is how she explains the similar weld
The hairdresser had never cut a bob before, so it simply happened that Stiansen’s breast length hair was cut straight off under the chin.
– I did not look. I cried for an hour when I got home, she adds.
On the other hand, it is just as easy to highlight a favorite among the various welds. A certain weld from 2004-2005 takes the cake.
– My Hanekam hockey weld – short at the top and far behind. I wanted a rocking cock comb, but did not want to cut myself too short because I loved my long, thick hair. So then it became a middle ground!
–
Stiansen says she loved the weld and remembers well how it was.
– I could get the biggest cock comb from the top of the fringe and all the way down to the hair ends if I wanted to, and I still remember how raw I felt!
This somewhat hectic lifestyle, went at the expense of the hair. From 2006, after many years of dyeing and bleaching, she also started with extentions. She had this fixed until 2008. And then it was mostly “tufts and tiles” left of her own hair. It was a shock.
Almost unrecognizable
– Just before I participated in “Skal vi danse”, I had bleached and dyed my hair completely wild the summer before the program began. Then I remember standing in the shower pulling out big, sticky tufts of hair. Then I got scared, she admits.
It was a turning point that led to better treatment of your own hair.
For the last four years, my hairdresser and I have had one focus: let the hair rest, and build it up to become healthy and strong, long hair again.

Both training clothes and sequins
It’s not just Stiansen’s hair that has undergone a lot in recent years. Stylistically, she has also been traveling.
Here the star’s hair breaks
Still, she says her style is still true to where it started: in the sporty corner.
– My parents ran G-Sport in Vennesla growing up. So my style throughout primary school was very influenced by the sporty look, she says.
Regular in the wardrobe were brands such as Adidas, Nike, Röhnisch, Frank Shorter and Asics.
– A favorite look was the button pants from Adidas in different colors, together with my favorite shoes at the time, Nike Cortez, and various hoodies and tops from Adidas, Nike and Röhnisch. I loved it.
It was not until during and after “Idol” in 2005, as a twenty-year-old, that she began to explore other styles to a greater extent.
–
Today, she is still characterized by sporty, but can also tell about larger spans in style:
– I was completely in shock
– I still love the sporty look and am true to it. I wear clothes that are very comfortable and durable, that’s important to me. My favorite color is black and different shades of brown. And I love sequins!
The everyday uniform often involves sneakers, black training tights, training bras and a loose top with matching jacket and caps. Stiansen trains a lot – but otherwise she tones down the sporty a bit.
– When I get home, I change into my favorite pants from Envelope1976 called Monaco, and pull over a loose T-shirt and some jewelry, she says.
Affected by illness: – Shut up for a long time
And if she’s going out, it’s seldom without her eternal favorite: the black blazer.
– Me love blazers. Whether I go for an outfit with a dress or pants, a black blazer, high heels, bling in the ear, fresh makeup and waves in the hair are always a safe go-to for me.
She is also conscious of sustainability when it comes to style and wardrobe.
–
– I do not have much clothes, but make sure that what I have I can use about each other. Both when it comes to colors and type of garment, says Stiansen.
Will move: – Always lived very cramped
Like many others, the last couple of years of pandemic have made Stiansen want to dress up even more. For both large and small occasions. Life is fragile, so we have to celebrate the moments we can, she thinks.
– Many of us finally had time to sit down and really go into ourselves during the pandemic, for better or worse. Dare to feel, and get to know your own inner self and your own strength – that’s where the real beauty lies, you ask me, says Stiansen.
–
And whether she has used the pandemic time to think about it or not, she is at least in no doubt about what she had never gone through:
– Crocs. I hate crocs, she says, and completely writes off one of this year’s biggest trends.
– Not yet forgiven myself
– Or all-weather jacket over dress, and boots with round toe and kitten whole which stops at the calf, she adds.
Received!
– Fun to work with stylists
When it comes to stage outfits, she appreciates working creatively with a stylist.
– During Stjernekamp, for example, we worked closely with a stylist from NRK who had a lot of good ideas and input for various funny looks, she says.
– I think it’s great fun to be inspired by other artists or stylists. If I do not have a specific outfit I want to go with myself, and as I have imagined, I think it’s fun to see and hear what the stylist thinks. It is usually a blissful mix!
And the queen of stage outfits? It’s Miley Cyrus. Stiansen admits that she loves to draw style inspiration from Cyrus’ looks.
