Chelsea midfielder and Italian international Jorginho wants to stay at the club this summer.
Jorginho, who was a key player for Chelsea last summer, is entering the final 12 months of his current contract.
There are no details yet as to whether he would sign a new contract with the Blues at the moment.
Nonetheless, Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos claims his client wants to stay at Chelsea and put pen to paper on a new deal.
Talk to Tutomercatoweb, Santos said: “Chelsea is the priority (for Jorginho). His contract will expire in 2023, I think we will talk about the renewal from September.
It comes three months after he claimed Jorginho “dreamed” of returning to Serie A amid interest from Juventus, AC Milan and former club Napoli.
Jorginho is one of 10 Blues players with just one year left on their contract.
Others include Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley.
